We would love to have you join us as we grow together as a faith community.
We want to open the door for you to participate at whatever level of involvement you are available. Let this schedule serve as an invitation to step in to worship, learn, and serve at any time on Sundays! Below this simple schedule are descriptions of what happens when we meet.

We want to open the door for you to participate at whatever level of involvement you are available. Let this schedule serve as an invitation to step in to worship, learn, and serve at any time on Sundays!
Some of us arrive early to prepare for our time together by putting signs in the yard, opening doors, turning on lights, making coffee, and getting technology cranked up. Those working on the worship setting or Visio Divina may be adding their finishing touches.
Come on in and fix a cup of coffee and grab a little breakfast. You will find us gathered around tables engaging in a book study. Several of us have found the book we are using on apps like Everand, Kindle, or Audible. We are beginning a study of Henri Nouwen's The Return of the Prodigal Son at the end of January 2025. We also talk about upcoming events as we gather.
We make our transition between worship and study with a time of informal fellowship around light breakfast snacks and coffee. Several folks from the congregation will bring pastries, fruit, and maybe Conecuh sausage to share. Some join us late or leave early if necessary.
Our worship is liturgical, but relaxed. We read our mission statement together, profess our faith with historic creeds, pray for needs in our community, and begin the message with scripture from the Contemporary English Version of the Bible. The structure of worship is familiar with traditional elements, but there are opportunities for interaction, sharing prayer requests and praises, and our worship includes songs from hymns to popular music through the years.
We do a quick pick up of the building together before locking up.
Many Sunday's we continue our time together with lunch out together. It's a great time to get to know one another and enjoy being present in our community. (We are regulars at Giovanni's and Beef 'O'Brady's!)
The schedule varies from week to week, so watch for announcements
Join us for lunch on Wednesdays between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Bring your own lunch or check the Facebook page to find out if we have plans to prepare soup or sandwiches. There are always plenty of drinks in the fridge and something to snack on. Whether you are hungry for food or companionship, come on over! You might find someone crafting or playing cards, or just hanging out. At 3:00 PM we begin our Spiritual Formation group. All are welcome!
Find us in the Fireside Room and fix yourself a cup of coffee! We usually studying a book together, learning about the early church, or engage in Lectio Divina (a slow, thoughtful way of reading the scripture together). Copies of the New Testament in the Contemporary English Version are available for your use. In February and March, we will share ideas from Canoeing the Mountains, a book about our need to remain flexible in the times we are facing.
